This morning (March 14, 2026), I had the pleasure of accompanying MBA participants from the international Master’s program between Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology and University of Applied Sciences and Arts Northwestern Switzerland on a field visit and working session at Trung Quy Group in Long An.
This company visit forms an integral part of the Strategy Consulting course, enabling MBA participants not only to study theory in the classroom but also to directly observe, analyze, and engage with real business leadership.
What made this experience distinctive is that participants did not approach it as a “tour,” but rather from the perspective of MBA-level strategic consultants.
During their engagement with the leadership team of Trung Quy Group, students were expected to:

Following the visit, each group will develop a comprehensive strategic analysis, including:

KPI & Strategy Monitoring Mechanisms
Each group will present their work before the class, faculty, the Chairman, and the COO of Trung Quy Group—simulating a professional consulting engagement.
